Bio
I am a PhD Candidate in History with a focus on Middle-East South Asia. My dissertation is focused on the Persianate scribal culture in 17th-18th century Mughal South Asia. My broader interests include socio-intellectual analysis of pre-modern Islamic/Islamicate communities, am also interested in critical theories on post-structural textual analysis whereby I unpack the discourses framing authorship and narrative emplotment.
