Poet Armen Davoudian will read Voorhies 126 on May 12! Please join CW, ME/SA, and Comp Lit in welcoming Armen and his poems to campus (details on poster; please share!).
 
Armen Davoudian is the author of the poetry collection The Palace of Forty Pillars (Tin House, US; Corsair, UK) and the translator, from Persian, of Hopscotch by Fatemeh Shams (Ugly Duckling Presse, US; Falscrhum, Germany). He grew up in Isfahan, Iran, and is a PhD candidate in English at Stanford University. Solmaz Sharif notes "lines between dream and screen and streams blur” in his poetry and Ananya Kanai Shah calls his book a "kaleidoscopic and ambitious collection.”
