Communal Knowledge Networks and the Power of Palestinian Public Transportation in the West Bank
About the Speaker: Maryam S. Griffin is a UC President's Postdoctoral Fellow at UC Davis in the Department of Asian American Studies. Her research focuses on the relationships between freedom of movement, state power, and popular political organizing. She holds a Ph.D. in sociology from UC Santa Barbara and a J.D. from the UCLA School of Law. She is currently working on a book manuscript entitled, Mobility and Mobilization: The Politics of Palestinian Public Transportation in the West Bank.
