Esther Elia will discuss the prayer bowls she creates inspired by art forms in Mesopotamia. Rupy C. Tut re-interprets Sikh miniature art in light of modern themes in the diaspora, such as navigating patriarchy, and racial and immigration regimes in California. She currently has an exhibit in San Francisco called OUT OF PLACE.
