Arabic 021: Intermediate Arabic

This course builds on courses 001, 002, and 003.

Arabic 003 or consent of instructor.



It offers an interactive and integrated presentation of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, including idiomatic expressions. The course covers standard Arabic and also develops skills in Egyptian or Levantine colloquial dialect depending on the specialization of the instructor.

GE credit (New): Arts & Humanities, Oral Literacy and World Cultures.

 Format: Lecture/Discussion - 4 hours.
