Professor Davis holds a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine and a PhD in Geography from the University of California at Berkeley. She conducts research on environmental history, pastoral societies and arid lands, political ecology, the Middle East and North Africa and environmental change and public health.
